The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima organizes activities in honour of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Kingdom of Thailand

The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima together with University of San Ignacio de Loyola organized an event in honour of His Majesty the King of Thailand. This event was aimed at promoting the great devotion and valuable contribution to the Thai society of His Majesty the King of Thailand to the Peruvian Public.

The activities were divided into 3 parts namely 1) Exhibition of Royal activities and projects, displaying all information, in forms of publications and videos, about His Majesty the King including His Majesty’s work and achievement as well as His Majesty’s visits to foreign countries 2) Seminar on His Majesty the King of Thailand which was focused on the Role of His Majesty the King as father for all Thais (by Ambassador Kamthorn Sithtichoti) and His Majesty the King in a foreign diplomat perspective (by Ambassador Oscar Maurtua, ex- Peruvian foreign Minister and ex- Peruvian Ambassador to Thailand) and 3) Reception in honour of His Majesty the King of Thailand accompanying with the Muay Thai and fruit and vegetable carving demonstrations.

All activities received warm welcome and great attention from all invited guests, press, diplomatic corps, representatives from education and private sector, important Peruvian agencies, all Thais living in Lima ,students and Peruvian people.
