The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima presented books about Thailand for the “Thai Study Corner” project of the University of Pacific.

 

On January 7th of 2013, His Excellency Mr. RuengdejMahasaranond, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru, along with the Embassy’s officials, presided over the presentation ceremony to hand over more than 100 items of books, CD and related materials in areas of the Thai monarchy, politics, economics and history of Thailand as well as those on Thai traditional cultures, to Dr.Felipe Portocorrero, Rector of the University of Pacific in Lima as part of the “Thai Study Corner” project.

 

 

This project aims to provide the public, teachers and students of Peru to learn and understand more about Thailand.

 

 

The 50-year old University of Pacific is one of the famous private higher education institute that teaches business administration, accounting and finance, economic and law. Dr. AmnuayViravan has been appointed one of the honorary advisors of the university since 1995. The university has signed cooperation agreements with Thammasat and ABAC universities of Thailand.
