The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima welcomed Mrs. Apiradi Tantraporn, Deputy Minister of Commerce and the business delegation to Peru and Colombia.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Lima welcomed and coordinated for the visit to Peru of Mrs. Apiradi Tantraporn, Deputy Minister of Commerce and her delegation, consisting of high ranking officials from Ministry of Commerce and Thai private sectors represented by Mr. Phairush Burapachaisri, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Mrs. Surapon Vongvadhanaroj, Honorary advisor of Thai National Shippers's Council to Peru during 9 - 10 June 2015. This visit coincided with the annual visit to Peru and Colombia of representatives of 24 Thai companies organized annually by Department of International Trade Promotion.

On 10 June 2015, Ambassador Ruengdej Mahasaranond together with Her Excellency Deputy Minister of Commerce and her delegation paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Mrs. Magali Silva, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru and Mr. Edgar Vasquez, Vice Minsiter. Both sides exchanged views on how to promote more trade and investment between Thailand and Peru. The topic of discussion included the FTA Thailand – Peru and its utilization, export and import issues, bilateral cooperation on trade and technologies, opportunities for Thai investment in Peru. Minister Magali Silva extended invitation to Thai importers to visit the Fair Export Peru to be held in Seoul during 17 - 18 July.

Ambassador Ruengdej Mahasaranong also hosted a dinner in honor of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and her delegation including representatives of Thai business companies visiting Peru and Colombia on 9 June 2018 at Ambassador’s residence.

Besides, Business delegations of 24 companies participated in the business matching with Peruvian private sectors at Lima Chamber of Commerce on 10 – 11 June and travelled to Bogota for another business negotiation with Colombian companies at J.W. Marriot Bogota on 12 June. They left Bogota for Thailand on 14 June 2015.
